Landen Brown
Federal Field Chief Technology Officer
Landen Brown serves as the Federal Chief Technology Officer (F-CTO) for the federal division of Symmetry Systems. In this role, his primary responsibility is to drive a successful product strategy for national defense and to educate and help federal customers understand and mitigate complex cloud security issues as agencies make the difficult transition to cloud computing. Landen’s background includes deep experience in offensive cyber strategy for Nuclear Intelligence with the US Air Force, where he served as an Information Systems Security Officer, as well as experience supporting cybersecurity efforts within the U.S. defense and intelligence communities. He also has extensive experience building and managing innovative next generation cybersecurity for private sector industries. Additional expertise includes supporting efforts in endpoint detection and response (EDR), network detection and response (NDR), and cloud security. His background also include knowledge and expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). Prior to joining Symmetry Systems, Landen led numerous cybersecurity efforts at organizations that included Tanium and Vectra AI.
