Gopi Ramamoorthy is the Senior Director of Security and GRC engineering at Symmetry Systems, where he focuses on engineering and automating security and compliance into our product. His extensive experience and vision for the future of data security and compliance help shape our product with features purpose built for practitioners. He is also responsible for managing Symmetry Systems multiple compliance certifications. Gopi has extensive experience with building end to end security infrastructure and achieving multiple security compliance across highly regulated industries such as Banking & Payment industry and Life Sciences & Healthcare for the last 15 years. His extensive practitioner experience including managing security and compliance programs focused on ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI, FFIEC, HIPAA, French HDS, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, HITRUST, TX-RAMP, GDPR and CCPA amongst others. Gopi remains very active in the industry with leadership roles in multiple security, privacy and compliance organizations in the Silicon Valley. He holds professional certifications in Security, Privacy, and Audit and Compliance (CISSP,CISA, CISM, CIPP/US).
