What is Zero Trust?

Zero Trust is a security concept that businesses deploy to secure their networks from unauthorized, unvalidated and unauthenticated users. It requires employees, technologies and vendors who have access to the network to be authenticated, authorized and validated on a constant basis. Only those users who have proper security configurations on their devices may access specific data on specific networks. In order to achieve Zero Trust, businesses use a combination of multifactor authentication, identity and access management, endpoint security technologies, data security management platforms to verify each user, understand which users have access to what data, and maintain a strong security posture.
